How to Get Cheats to Work With a Visual Boy Advance

Visual Boy Advance is a computer program used to play games created for the Game Boy Advance (GBA) hand-held console. As part of the program, users have the ability to enter cheats for the games they want to play, based on the cheat devices made available for the GBA (such as the Game Genie and GameShark). If you wish to add cheats to your GBA game and activate them, you can do so easily.

• Game Genie or GameShark codes

Instructions

1. Select the "Cheats" option in the Visual Boy Advance menu bar, then select the "Cheat List" option.

2. Select the check-box for the device that you have corresponding codes for. For example, if you have an Action Replay code, select the "Action Replay" check-box.

3. Enter the cheat code into the indicated text box.

4. Select the "OK" option to confirm your cheat entry and return to the game.
