How to Replace a Xenon Headlight in a Saab 95
Replacing the headlights on a Saab 9-5 is a simple, but necessary, procedure. Without functional headlights, you experience diminished road vision and oncoming drivers may not be able to see your vehicle. Not only that, but many state troopers can issue "fix it" tickets for driving with malfunctioning headlights. Saab vehicles use P 43t-38 Xenon bulbs which can be purchased at most automotive parts stores.

Unscrew the cover from the back of the head light units. The head light units are located under the hood, directly behind the head lights. The cover is situated on the back side of the head light units and can be unscrewed by hand. Unplug the connectors from the light units by squeezing the tabs on the connectors and pulling them away from the units.
