How to Unlock Everything in Mario Kart Double Dash

"Mario Kart: Double Dash" for the Nintendo GameCube changes the series' kart racing formula by adding a second character to each racer. You can switch between them on the fly to help them win races. The game includes a number of unlockable karts and circuits, which you can open by winning some of the circuits in different classes of vehicles.

Instructions

1. Finish the game's three opening circuits -- Mushroom Cup, Flower Cup and Special Cup -- in the 50cc class to earn the karts of Luigi, Daisy and Koopa Paratroopa.

2. Unlock Baby Luigi and Waluigi's karts by completing the Mushroom and Flower cups in the 100cc class.

3. Get the karts of Birdo and Diddy Kong by finishing the Flower and Star cups in the 150cc class.

4. Unlock the Special Cup by completing the Star Cup in the 100cc class. Finish this cup in the 150cc class to open the All-Cup Tour, which allows you to play all four cups at once. Complete the All-Cup Tour in the 150cc class to play Mirror Mode, which lets you drive backward around the tracks.

5. Complete Special Cup in the 50cc and 100cc classes to unlock Bowser Jr. and Toad's karts.

6. Finish the Mushroom, Flower, Star and Special cups and the All-Cup Tour in Mirror Mode to unlock karts for Toadette, King Boo, Petey Piranha and Toadsworth, as well as the Tilt-a-Kart level in battle mode.

7. Earn gold trophies in all race classes and cups to get both a new start screen and alternate ending screen.
