How to Install a Thawte Primary Root 6 IIS Certificate
If you are hosting a website from a PC server in your home or office, data is constantly being sent and received from the machine. Log onto your PC server with an administrator account.

Open the Start menu and click on "Run."

Type "mmc" into the text field and click "OK" to launch the Microsoft Management Console.

Go to the "File" menu and select "Add/Remove Snap-in." Then click "Add" and choose the "Certificates" option.

Select the "Computer account" radio button, press "Next" and then choose the "Local computer" radio button. After that, press "Finish."

Highlight the "Certificates" folder on the left side of the window.

Open the "Action" menu at the top of the window, expand the "All Tasks" list and choose "Import."

Click "Next" when the Certificate Import Wizard launches.

Press the "Browse" button, highlight your Thawte Primary Root 6 certificate file and hit "Open." Then click "Next."

Pick the "Automatically select the certificate store based on the type of certificate" option and press "Next" and "Finish" to install the Thawte certificate.
