Instructions

    • 1

Get rid of things that are piling up in your house. If you are not using it already it will be best to throw it away than to keep it. Water bugs love to lurk on unused stuff such as cartons and other things that are getting dusty already.

    • 2

Pour vinegar into the drains such as the kitchen sinks or bathroom sinks. The vinegar will kill the bugs that are already living in the drain and will prevent the water bugs outside from going to the drains and into your house.

    • 3

Pour borax powder into every nook and cranny so that the water bugs that are already inside your house will die. Borax powder is very poisonous to water bugs. Sprinkle powder on the edges of the water pond so that the insects will avoid the water.

    • 4

Cut the plants or grasses that are surrounding your house so that they do not touch the walls of the house. Sometimes water bugs use the plants as a way to get into the house. Trim plants regularly to deny the water bugs access into your home.

Tips & Warnings

  • Keep outdoor areas clean and tidy to discourage water bugs.
