You can watch multicast videos streams in QuickTime 7.

Apple's QuickTime media player allows you to watch videos on your computer. In addition to movies on your hard drive, you can use QuickTime to watch streaming movies by entering the Web address of the movie. Multicast movies act like TV broadcasts in that they allow many users to view a video stream at the same time. QuickTime supports video streaming in the RTP/RTSP standard that many multicast videos use.
