How to Learn English From Thai
Thai is a South Asian language, linguistically unrelated to English. The pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar structure of Thai differs greatly from English, and Thai speakers who want to learn English must learn a new writing system. If you speak Thai and would like some help in the challenge of mastering English, there are a number of resources available online or in your community.

1
Find a tutor who speaks both Thai and English. You will be able to ask for clarification and have difficult concepts explained in your language. If you choose a partner whose first language is English but has mastered Thai, you will have the advantage of studying with a fluent speaker. However, a tutor who speaks Thai as a first language and mastered English as a second language will understand some of the difficulties Thai speakers face. She can prepare lesson plans accordingly.

2
Find a practice partner. If you don't have the resources for a private tutor, find a partner who speaks both Thai and English on a website such as MyLanguageExchange or LiveMocha. Offer practice in your native language in exchange for help with your English. If you don't speak another language, try to find someone who grew up speaking Thai and wants to learn to read and write. Look on MeetUp to find Thai speakers who have meetings to practice their English. If there isn't one in your area, start your own. These meetings can provide both language practice and the opportunity to socialize.

Take a class in English in Thailand. Most English as a foreign language classes now focus on the immersion method, where the teacher and the rest of the class speaks only in English for the whole lesson. This is an especially-common teaching practice in English-speaking countries, as classes are often populated with students of multilingual backgrounds. If you are in Thailand, you can find English classes where the students and teacher speak Thai as a first language. Such classes may use materials specifically for Thai students, where the English linguistic concepts will be explained in Thai.
