How to Add a New Phone to BitPim
BitPim is a computer application that allows users to view and organize information on cellular phones. It can manipulate data that includes ringtones, calendars and phone book information. The program works on Windows, Mac and Linux operating systems. Although the process of adding a new phone to the program may require a different method depending on the type of phone or operating system used, it is still a fairly simple process overall.

Install and open BitPim application.

Connect your phone the computer via USB connection. The program will automatically try to detect the phone. If this detection fails, go to next step.

Go to "Edit," then "Detect Phone" in the main menu. This will prompt the program to make an attempt to detect your phone. If this fails to detect and add the your phone, go to next step.

Go to "File," then "Settings." this will open a "Settings" dialog box where you can manually add your phone to the BitPim program. If this does not work, try some troubleshooting options.
