How to Rent a U-Haul Car Hauler

Moving your car doesn't have to be an expensive exercise. When it comes time to transport your vehicle renting a U-Haul car hauler can be better than having to deal with repairs, oil changes and putting miles on your vehicle.

Instructions

1. Visit uhaul.com. Choose the vehicle you want to rent.

2. Select your pickup date and pickup location and drop-off location. Click "Get Rates."

3. Select what type of vehicle you are towing with. Select vehicle year, make, mode and features of the vehicle being transported.

4. Select your hitch system rating and type of vehicle being towed. Select year, make, model and features of vehicle being towed.

5. View your subtotal and click "Continue." Select preferred pickup location. Click "Continue."

6. Select insurance options if applicable. Click "Continue." Add additional items if needed. Click "Continue."

7. Check your cart and subtotal. Click "Check Out." Fill in billing information. Click "Complete Purchase."

Tips & Warnings

• When your online rental has been completed, you will receive a copy of the receipt to print out for your records. It would also be good to take your receipt with you to pick up your car hauler. If you choose not to use the internet, you can find a local office by calling 1-877GO-UHAUL (1-877-468-4285) 7 days a week from 4 am-11 pm MST.
