Highly efficient as both air-conditioning and heating units, Goodman heat pumps come with a standard warranty certificate, which can be downloaded online, varies by model and requires registration for activation. For a specialized component warranty, owners of Goodman heat pumps must register their model within 60 days of purchase, with the exception of California and Quebec, which do not require registration for an upgraded warranty. Locate the serial number on your Goodman heat pump. The serial number is a unique, 10-digit number that is on the top of the unit's electrical box cover, beneath the model number.

Register your Goodman heat pump online. Visit the Goodman website at Goodmanmfg.com. From the homepage, click on "Warranty" in the left-hand navigation bar. On the next page, click on "Product Registration" in the left-hand navigation bar. Fill in your personal information, select "residential" or "commercial" and click the "next" button. On the subsequent page, fill in your serial number, date of purchase and dealer information (optional). Click the "next" button. Based on your heat pump's serial number and your date of purchase, the final page will display your available warranty and registration information.

Call Goodman's Customer Relations Team at 877-254-4729 to request information in writing on your Goodman heat pump registration and warranty. Make sure to have your serial number and model number ready.
