How to Convert Brothers Keepers Files to Family Tree

The Genealogical Data Communication (GEDCOM) standard, developed by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Family History Department, made it possible to exchange genealogical data between different programs. Originally created as a tool for the church's software, the tool evolved and became a universal standard available in most genealogy programs today. The Brother's Keeper program provides the capability to export the data. The new Family Tree program will convert the file with an import command.
