How to Uninstall Stickies
Stickies is a freeware application for Windows by Zhorn Software. The application simulates the popular "sticky notes" that people often jot reminders on, keeping the user's notes on the screen until the application is shut down. Thanks to the popularity of Stickies and other applications like it, Windows 7 now includes a built-in sticky note application. If you have decided that you prefer the Windows 7 sticky notes application or another one like it, then you may have no further use for Stickies and can remove it from the computer if desired.

Right-click the yellow Stickies icon in the system tray, and select "Exit" to close the program.

Click the "Start" button and select "Control Panel" from the menu.

Click or double-click "Add or Remove Programs" in Windows XP. In later versions of Windows, click "Uninstall a Program" or double-click "Programs and Features."

Click "Stickies 7.0b" on the list of programs. Note that the version number of Stickies may differ depending on when you installed it.

Click "Remove" or "Uninstall." A command prompt window appears as the Stickies removal utility deletes the files associated with the program from the computer. When the command prompt window disappears, Windows has removed Stickies from the computer.
