Instructions

    • 1

Add measured pasta or rice portions to the base of the Pasta Plus. The small and large holes in the lid can be used to measure one or two servings of straight noodle pasta, respectively. Other pasta shapes and rice can be measured using a measuring cup for up to four servings.

    • 2

Pour water into the Pasta Plus until the appropriate fill line is reached for the pasta or rice portion that will be cooked. Lower the steamer insert onto the base to steam cook vegetables simultaneously.

    • 3

Slide the Pasta Plus into the microwave and close the door. Turn off the carousel to keep the box from spinning. Set the time according to the cooking chart in Resources.

    • 4

Remove the Pasta Plus from the microwave one minute after the cooking has completed. Lift out the steamed vegetable insert and set it aside. Cover the Pasta Plus with the lid.

    • 5

Pour the water out of the Pasta Plus through the small holes in one end of the lid. Serve the pasta or rice directly from the Pasta Plus. Cover the container with the lid and slide the leftovers into the refrigerator.

Tips & Warnings

  • A small bowl of pasta sauce can be added to the microwave for the last minute of cooking. You can have the complete meal come out of the microwave at the same time if vegetables are steamed above the cooking pasta.

  • Handle the hot Pasta Plus while wearing silicone oven gloves to avoid burning your hands with the hot steam and water.
