How to Create Your Own Doll for MySpace
MySpace provides you with many areas, such as the bulletin board or comments section, where you have the ability to post your pictures. Consider designing your own doll, or avatar, to display a customized digital image that enhances your page. There are a number of free doll creator websites available to help you design a doll. These Internet tools automatically build your doll in any theme, such as love or glitter, and generate the code and file necessary to publish it on your MySpace page.

1
Bring up a doll creator website like Dollz Mania, The Doll Palace, Maker Heaven, eLouai or Zoodu (see Resources).

2
Click a link on the site you've chosen to build the specific type of doll that you want to design -- like a Holiday style, for example. If using Maker Heaven, click on a doll body to get started. With Zoodu, scroll to the bottom of the page to get to the doll maker menu.

Click a doll body to select it and then click and drag the doll features, such as hairstyle and clothing, onto the doll to apply them. On Zoodu, click the drop-down menus to style your doll.
-
4
Click the "Save and Download," "Save," "HTML" or "Save & get code!" button to preserve your changes. Copy the code that automatically displays. If using Dollz Mania, follow the prompts to download the doll image to your computer.

5
Log in to your MySpace account and navigate to the area where you want your image to appear, such as your profile or blog. Paste in your doll code and click the "Save Changes" link to publish it to your page. If you have a downloaded doll image, click the "My Photos" option under the "Profile" menu, click the "Upload Photos" link that displays and follow the prompts to select your doll file and add this avatar to your photo library.
