How to Add an Address to Dogpile thumbnail
Submiting a Web address to search engines feed Dogpile's search results.

Dogpile is what's known as a "metasearch engine." Unlike a traditional search engines, such as Google, metasearch engines don't use crawlers to gather direct information about the material published on the Web. Instead, metasearch engines work by passing a user's search query on to multiple traditional search engines then combine the results received from all these other sources into its own result listings. The Dogpile metasearch engine returns results from Google, Yahoo! and Bing. Therefore, the only way to add a Web address to the Dogpile metasearch engine is to submit the address to these other search engines.
