Instructions

    • 1

Activate your studfinder by holding the button on the side.

    • 2

Rub the back of the stud finder across the ceiling to find a beam. Depending on your studfinder, it will either beep, flash a light or do both once a beam has been located.

    • 3

Twist a hook through the drywall and into the beam in the ceiling.

    • 4

Lay all four rope pieces side-by-side on a flat surface. Be sure that the ends of the ropes are even.

    • 5

Pick up the ropes and tie a double knot using all four strands 6 inches from the end of the bundle.

    • 6

Grasp the other end of the bundle and tie a double knot using all four ropes 12 inches from that end.

    • 7

Cut off the excess of each end with your shears.

    • 8

Grasp two strands of the bundle just below one of the double knots and hang the double knot on the hook in the ceiling.

    • 9

Open the ropes at the bottom of the rope plant hanger.

    • 10

Place the potted plant onto the double knot at the bottom of the rope assembly.

    • 11

Spread the four ropes evenly around the flower pot so that they support the weight of the plant from every side.
