How do I Activate Scanner Functions on a Lanier Dl135 Digital Copier?

Multifunctional copiers can do much more than just make copies.

The Lanier LI 135 copier is manufactured by Ricoh Corporation, and is sold and labeled as the Ricoh Aficio 2035e. This multifunctional digital copier can be configured as a copier, network fax machine, network printer and network scanner. Each of its functions can be accessed by pressing the appropriately labeled button that is located on the left-hand side of the main control panel.

Instructions

1. Press the "Scan" button on the front panel of the copier. This will bring you into the scanning interface.

2. Select a scanning destination. Lanier and Ricoh copiers can be programmed to send scans to a shared folder, a person's email inbox or to a shared server. You can also scan directly to an email address. Each option can be selected by pressing the appropriate button on the touch-screen display.

3. Load the documents to be scanned into the document feeder. The document feeder will hold up to 50 sheets of paper and they should be loaded "face up."

4. Press the "Start" button. This will begin the scanning process. The scanning software will send the scanned images to the specified destination after all documents have been scanned.
