While bedrooms by their very definition are a place for sleeping, not all rooms of this type need to share the same generic decorating scheme. Survey the space. Consider what furniture arrangement your space may lend itself to. For example, if your odd space is long but shallow or contains a large number of windows, you may need to allow these unchangeable room features to dictate your furniture placement.
