How to Activate Simple Freedom With Verizon

Simple Freedom is a personalized prepaid cell phone that has a variety of features available to suit your needs. Pricing is a straight by-the-minute basis. There are no contracts and no credit checks with Simple Freedom phones--even no plans. Minutes for your phone can be purchased either by airtime cards at a local retail store near you, or with a credit card by calling the customer service line.

Instructions

1. Visit www.alltelu.com.

2. Choose the payment option you prefer.

3. Call Alltel's Customer Care line (800-335-6401).

4. Press the number "2" (two) on your phone's number pad when prompted for activation.

5. Add minutes to your account, and your Simple Freedom phone will be activated and ready for use.

Tips & Warnings

• The Simple Freedom is a Verizon cellular phone; however, it is worthwhile to note that the References refer to the Alltel service provider. Though Verizon Wireless bought out Alltel, this did not affect the activation process of the Simple Freedom cell phone. See the Resource section for more information.
