How to Clean a CS4 Registry
The Adobe CS4 software provides the tools for website and graphic design. Windows stores settings and other information about software programs, such as the Adobe CS4 suite, in a database referred to as the "Registry." Clean the CS4 registry files before you upgrade to a newer version or reinstalling the software. Use the Registry Editor--the utility included with the Windows operating system--to make changes to the registry. Be careful to remove only the files associated with the CS4 software.
