Things You'll Need

  • 1 can tuna fish, 6 oz.
  • 2 tbsp. mayonnaise
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 3-inch holly-leaf-shaped cookie cutter
  • 4 tbsp. goat cheese
  • 4 slices rye bread, crusts removed
  • 4 large fresh basil leaves

      Cut the crust off the bread. Set it aside.

      Mix the tuna fish and mayonnaise in a large bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste.

      Divide the bread into two sections. Designate one pile for the tuna fish mixture and the other pile for the goat cheese.

      Spread a liberal amount of the mixture on one side of the tuna-designated bread pile. Spread goat cheese on the one side of the bread from the other pile.

      Add one slice of cheese and a large basil leaf to the tuna side of the bread. Place the goat cheese spread onto the basil leave and close the sandwich.

      Place the cookie cutter onto one side of the bread and press down. Place the cut section on the tray. Repeat the process to the other side of the sandwich.
