How to Address U.S. Mail to Canada thumbnail
Proper labeling ensures your mail arrives at its Canadian destination.

If you wish to send mail from the United States to a recipient in one of Canada's 10 provinces, following international mailing requirements is integral. Canadian mailing addresses and labels differ in form from their United States counterparts. Failure to adopt the correct format can result in delayed or returned mail.

The United States Postal Service provides international mailing guidelines and requires complete adherence to labeling requirements. Accurately addressing your Canada bound parcel will help ensure it arrives on time and at the correct address.
