Two-Way Sync the Droid Eris With Outlook

The Droid Eris is a smart phone developed by HTC. The device uses the Android operating system and is available on the Verizon network. The Droid Eris can be synced with Microsoft Outlook using the HTC Sync software. Once your Droid Eris is linked with the software, you can sync your Outlook address book and calendars via a USB cable between Android and Outlook. The sync is two-way so any changes made from Android or Outlook will be reflected in both places.

Instructions

    • 1

Download and install HTC Sync (see Resources).

    • 2

Connect the Droid Eris to your computer using the appropriate USB cable.

    • 3

Launch HTC Sync by selecting "Start," "Programs" and then "HTC Sync." The software will scan your system for the Droid Eris and launch a set up wizard once it is linked.

    • 4

Select the Outlook items you wish to synchronize to your Droid Eris and then click "Next."

    • 5

Confirm your Droid Eris sync settings and then click "Finish." Your Droid Eris will automatically sync with Microsoft Outlook any time it is connected to your computer and HTC Sync is running.
