1
Prepare bread dough according to the recipe without adjusting any liquid or yeast measurements.
-
2
Thorough wash and dry the pan. Place the dough in the dried pan to rise if it is yeast-based. Don't grease the silicone bread pan. Proceed to Step 3 if you plan to bake the bread immediately. If you plan to bake later, place the non-risen bread dough into the silicone bread pan and seal completely in a freezer zip-lock bag. Put the bread dough into a freezer unit.

3
Bake the bread according to the specific recipe instructions. Do not adjust temperature settings when using a silicone bread pan. Bread should bake normally and brown evenly without burning in the silicone bread pan. Never use over open flame or a direct heat source such as a ceramic or coil stove-top burner.
-
4
Remove from oven when the baking is complete. Avoid touching the silicone bread pan directly out of the oven without using hot pads or oven mitts. The bread will cool down in one two minutes when away from an indirect heat source such as an oven or the upper shelf of an outdoor grill unit.
-
5
Twist each end of the silicone bread pan in opposite directions when the pan has cooled sufficiently. This loosens the baked loaf and makes for easy and clean removal.
-
6
Clean the silicone bread pan as you would a metal or glass pan. Use dish soap and hot water. Silicone cookware is dishwasher and oven safe.
-
7
Use the silicone bread pan for additional baking and recipes. Meatloaf recipes, dessert souffles and pound cakes cook well in the silicone bread pan. Place these on a metal cookie sheet if spill-over is a possibility. Don't worry about the silicone sticking to the cookie sheet. It won't.

Tips & Warnings
Divide a favorite lasagna or casserole recipe into two silicone loaf pans instead of putting it all in one large pan. This allows easy preparation, cooking, freezing and reheating all in smaller pans taking up less freezer space.
