How to Make Quickbooks 2007 Work With XP SP3

Instructions

1. Launch QuickBooks 2007 using shortcut commands. Navigate to the menu command for QuickBooks 2007 in your Start menu under "All Programs" and "QuickBooks" folder. Right-click QuickBooks 2007 shortcut, press and hold "Ctrl" key and choose "Open" from the context menu.

2. Disable Windows Firewall. Click Start and then click "Control Panel." Click "Windows Firewall." Select the tab that says "Exceptions." Place a check-mark next to "QuickBooks 2007." Click "Apply."

3. Re-register QuickBooks 2007 in Windows XP SP3. Launch the "Run..." tool from the Start menu. Type "reboot.bat" and hit "Enter."

4. Re-install QuickBooks 2007 if none of the above steps work. It is possible that your current installation has corrupted and is generating errors while you are trying to run the program. Insert QuickBooks 2007 CD-ROM and follow the guided instructions to re-install the program.
