Driving a Jeep Wrangler with faulty headlamps is extremely dangerous. Not only will your road vision be diminished, but oncoming drivers may fail to see your vehicle. In addition, many states have laws against driving with faulty headlamps and you may receive a ticket for doing so. Thankfully, assembling a Wrangler headlamp is a very simple procedure that only takes a few minutes.

  • Phillips screwdriver
  • Replacement H13 headlamp

      Park the Wrangler on a level surface and open the hood. Turn off the engine.

      Use the screwdriver to remove the three screws from the headlamp assembly. This will release the headlamp bezel, allowing you to remove it. Remove the three screws from the retaining ring on the assembly. Pull the ring off the assembly.

      Squeeze the tabs on the electrical connector and pull it off of the assembly. Remove the headlamp assembly. Place the replacement headlamp assembly into the vehicle and connect it to the electrical connector.

      Reattach the three screws and the retaining ring. Place the bezel back onto the headlamp assembly and reinstall the three securing screws. Close the hood.
