Visit websites that offer free subscriptions. National magazines that can be obtained from a website that offers a free subscription. Simply enter the name and address of the hotel to have the magazine sent directly to the location.

Check the recycle bins outside the local library. Libraries discard old magazines. These magazines can be taken from the recycle bin and placed in the lobby of the hotel. Recycle bins outside of libraries are used for magazines so they are not dirty. You will be able to reach the magazines without having to climb inside the bin.

Join a magazine exchange program in the hotels name. Local libraries sponsor these programs. You can bring in your old magazines to the library and exchange them for other magazines that are part of the same program. There will be a special rack where customers can place their old magazines as well as take new ones. Typically, there are some current, national magazines within a program like this.
