1
Eat well. One of the most effective things you can do to look fresh and young is to have a healthful diet. Eat lots of fruits and vegetables, along with organic meats and low fat dairy products. This will provide vitamins and nutrients that are essential in preserving skin's elasticity and will help give you an overall healthy glow. Avoid fast food, packaged food and junk food which all contain chemicals and preservatives that leave your skin looking dull and lifeless.

2
Take your vitamins. Many vitamins are known for their restorative powers when it comes to skin, so try taking supplements to give your face a refresher. Vitamin A and beta carotene (its plant form) help maintain and repair tissue, while Vitamin C prevents damage from free radicals. Omega fatty acids, which are commonly found in fish oil, are also known to keep skin hydrated and reduce inflammation.

Drink lots of water. Keeping your skin hydrated from the inside is the best way to prevent dryness, which can lead to wrinkles. Try to drink eight to 10 full glasses of water a day and stay away from sodas, caffeinated drinks and alcohol. Drinking water also flushes toxins out of your body and leaves your skin looking clean and clear.

4
Use a gentle cleanser. To keep your skin looking fresh and young, stay away from harsh cleansers that dry your skin out, stripping it of its natural oils. A soft, gentle cleanser that removes make-up and does not contain harsh ingredients will keep your skin from getting red and irritated.
-
5
Invest in a a good moisturizer. Using a good moisturizer that works for your skin type will also help prevent fine lines and wrinkles from forming. Use a moisturizer with Alpha and Beta Hydroxy Acids to exfoliate and keep skin fresh or try a moisturizer with a product like Retinol for anti-aging.
-
6
Wear an SPF. Everyone knows that nothing ages skin faster than sun damage. Use a strong SPF, such as 30 or above, and be sure to put it on everyday even if you are not outside. Two minutes here and five minutes there can accumulate to years spent outside without protection from the sun.
-
7
Get sufficient sleep. Lack of sleep can lead to lackluster skin and dark under eye circles, so be sure to allow yourself eight to 10 hours of sleep per night. Sleep deprivation can cause puffiness and can accentuate fine lines. When you wake up feeling fully refreshed and well-rested, your skin looks refreshed too.
