How to Warm Up a Taco Pizza

As when reheating any pizza, taco pizza comes out crispier when an oven is used. Reheating in microwave causes the crust to become soggy, which can make the pizza fall apart. Taco pizza uses both bread-based and chip-based crusts. These types of pizzas usually have lettuce, sour cream, guacamole and salsa that can't be reheated. If you plan to have left over pizza, avoid sprinkling cheese on top of the toppings you will need to remove. Does this Spark an idea?

Instructions

    • 1

Turn on the oven to 350 degrees. Use a lower temperature when reheating the taco pizza to prevent burning. The food has already been cooked so it doesn't need extensive cooking.

    • 2

Spray the pan with cooking spray.

    • 3

Scrape the lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, salsa or guacamole off the pizza with the knife and spoon. Store the ingredients in a bowl.

    • 4

Place the taco pizza on the pan. Place in the oven for eight to 11 minutes or until the crust is crispy. If the crust is made of chips, cook for five to seven minutes.

    • 5

Scoop the toppings out of the bowl and place them back onto the pizza. Spread them all over the crust.

Tips & Warnings

  • Avoid reheating any type of dairy-based dip.

  • Reheating sour cream can cause it to curdle.
