      Keep a food/product journal if you aren't sure of the cause of your red cheeks.

      Write down what you eat each day, along with what products you slather on your face. Note your skin's appearance throughout the days. You will start to notice a pattern of triggers. Avoid eating certain foods or using particular products once you've identified them as the source of your flushing.

      Apply a thin layer of petroleum jelly onto your face before going out into weather that is cold or windy. This will protect your skins from the elements that have adverse effects on it.

      Do not use harsh soaps or creams. While they may promise to moisturize, some products contain ingredients that will irritate your skin.
