How to Color & Paint Someone's Face for a Prank thumbnail
Markers are perfect for a face-painting prank.

Perhaps one of the most popular pranks for parties or sleepovers is face painting. This prank often occurs as a humorous "punishment" to the first person of the night to fall asleep, but this is not always the case. Regardless of the reasons for the prank, you must exercise extreme care when face painting. Faces are quite sensitive, so you must consider the types of materials you use to paint the face, as well as the environment in which the prank is performed.

Instructions

    • 1

Gather makeup, face paint or markers for the prank. You can choose a variety of colors if desired. Be sure to use products that require light pressure to apply, as too much pressure may potentially wake up the person being pranked. Also, avoid permanent markers to enjoy this prank with the cleanest conscience possible.

Pretend like you're sleeping so the person you want to prank falls asleep. The prank is much easier to perform when the person is asleep.

    • 3

Turn on a light in a nearby room if the person is sleeping in a dark room. You should have just enough light that you can see the person, but not so much that it causes him to wake up.

    • 4

Stand over the person being pranked and gently color his face with your supplies. You can color anything on the person's face, but try to make it something that everybody can laugh at, including the pranked person. You can simply write words or cover the entire face in an elaborate makeup job.

    • 5

Put away your supplies and go to sleep. Set an alarm so both you and the pranked person wake up at the same time. This way, you can see the initial reaction.
