How to Keep Access 2007 on One Page

When working with groups of data using the Microsoft Office Access 2007 application, you may have times when the data becomes separated by pages. When you are printing out your data, then it is best to make sure that it all appears on one page. By using the Group and Sort feature in Access 2007 you can choose to force all of the data that belongs to a group to appear on one single page. This feature condenses the data down to a small-size font and minimizes the number of page breaks in a group.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the Microsoft Access 2007 file that contains the data you want to keep grouped on one page.

    • 2

Right-click on the top navigation pane, and then select the "Design View" option.

    • 3

Use your mouse to select the group that you want to keep together within your database.

    • 4

Click the "Design" tab from the top of the application, and then select the "Group and Sort" option from the "Grouping and Totals" group.

    • 5

Click the arrow next to the "More" field in the Group, Sort and Total dialog box. Select the arrow next to the "Do not keep group together on one page" field.

    • 6

Select the "Keep whole group together on one page" field. The group will then be sorted so that it fits on one page only.
