How to Increase the Sound for Movies on the ASUS N71JQ Laptop

The ASUS N71JQ laptop is a Windows-based computer. It has two basic speakers built into the system that do not provide high-quality audio when playing movies or video games. Users looking to increase the sound for movies on the laptop can raise the volume level and also improve on the quality of the audio.

Instructions

1. Double-click the audio icon in the lower right corner of the desktop screen. This brings up the audio controls for the computer.

2. Click and raise all the audio control bars. This increases the volume for all the laptop settings. If the sound still is not satisfactory, add a pair of external speakers.

3. Plug the 3.5mm cable running from the external speakers into the "Line-Out" port on the side of the laptop (this is where headphones are connected).

4. Power on the connected speakers, which now will transmit audio from the laptop.

5. Double-click the audio icon in the lower right corner of the desktop.

6. Click and adjust the audio control bars as desired. This increases the volume for the audio levels through the external speakers.
