How to Make Chocolate Ice Cubes
Sometimes all you desire is a small chocolaty treat. Making chocolate ice cubes provides a small snack with a big flavor. For children, chocolate ice cubes are a fun dessert to fix and eat. With standard ice cube trays, you can make a fast and simple treat for the entire family. Does this Spark an idea?
Things You'll Need
- Ice cube trays
- Liquid dish soap
- Dish rag
- Clean cloth
- Chocolate milk
- Freezer

Remove any ice from the cube tray.

Fill a sink with warm water and 1/2 tsp. of liquid dish soap. Clean the ice cube tray and rinse with hot water. Dry the ice cube trays with a clean cloth.

Spread two paper towels over the kitchen counter. Lay the ice cube trays on top of the paper towels. The paper towels will catch any spills from the chocolate milk.

Pour the chocolate milk slowly into the cube trays. Fill the cube holes to the top, but do not overflow.

Place the cube trays gently into the freezer. Allow the chocolate milk to freeze for two to three hours.

Pop the cubes from the tray when ready to eat. Allow the uneaten cubes to remain in the tray in the freezer until ready to eat.

Use lowfat chocolate milk for a lower-calorie snack.
