How to Change a Blinker on a 2007 Saturn

The blinker, or the turn signal, on a 2007 Saturn is accessible through the engine compartment. The headlight housing holds three light bulbs: brights, dims and turn signal. The turn signal is secured to the frame by a rubber cover and a round metal clip. The wires are connected to the rear of the turn signal by a plastic wiring harness. You won't need any tools to replace the turn signal.

Instructions

    • 1

Open the hood of the Saturn and pull the wire harness off the rear of the turn signal. Pull the rubber cover off of rear of the turn light as well.

    • 2

Compress the two metal arms at the top of the metal clip. Pull the clip off the rear of the turn signal. Pull the light from the socket.

    • 3

Insert the new turn signal bulb into the socket. Replace the clip, rubber cover and the wire harness in the opposite order that you removed them.
