How to Capture With QuickTime

QuickTime Player 10, the video-player application included in the Mac OS X 10.6 operating system, allows you to capture video and audio and record anything you see on your screen. To record a video, you must have a Mac with a built-in iSight camera or a compatible FireWire or USB camera. The audio capture works with either the built-in microphone or an external device. Screen recording capture only requires a microphone if you are going to record narration to go along with the video.
