How to Repair Defective DVD Structure
A DVD file structure can become defective when the system configurations of the disc are lost or miscategorized in the structure. When the DVD settings don't properly match your media player, the player will load the wrong settings and corrupt the DVD file structure. With the use of DVD repairing software you can fix your defective DVD structure.

DVD Fab

Navigate to DVD Fab (see Resources) and click on "Download" to save DVD Fab to your computer.

Install DVD Fab to your computer and open the program.

Click "More" and browse for your defective DVD and open it by selecting "OK."

Choose an output directory for the repaired DVD to be saved to.

Click "Start" and DVD Fab will repair your defective DVD.
DVD Data Rescue

Navigate to Naltech (see Resources) and click on "here" to save DVD Data Rescue to your computer.

Install DVD Data Rescue to your computer and open the program.

Select the drive containing your defective DVD.

Choose "Ultra Rescue" in recovery mode. This will repair your defective DVD structure.
Bad CD/DVD Recovery

Navigate to Juice Soft (see Resources) and click on "Download" to save Bad CD/DVD Recovery to your computer.

Install Bad CD/DVD Recovery to your computer and open the program.

Select the drive containing your defective DVD by putting a check mark in the box. Choose the files you would like to retrieve form the disc and select "Start" to begin recovering your defective DVD structure.
