How to Check My Michigan State Tax Refund Status
The status of your Michigan state tax refund can be checked online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. The Michigan Department of Treasure provides an online tool that can be used to check the status of your refund after the tax return is received and processed. If you e-filed, you can begin to check the status after you receive acknowledgment by e-mail that your return was received. It can take up to 14 days before you receive e-mail notification. If your tax return was mailed in, the status may not be available for up to six weeks.
