How to Pay for a Parking Ticket in Toronto
The city of Toronto issues parking tickets to drivers who violate municipal parking bylaws. A bylaw enforcement officer will include the nature of the parking offense, the amount of the fine and the payment due date on the front of the ticket. Payment due dates are generally 15 days from the date of the offense. If you do not pay the fine by the due date, you may need to pay a penalty and will not be able to renew your license plates until you have paid the original fine, plus any penalties, in full.

Go to the city of Toronto website.

Click on "Pay a parking ticket" from the "How Can We Help You?" drop-down menu.

Click on "Pay your ticket."

Choose "Online" from the payment option drop-down menu. You will see a number of different types of tickets displayed on this page. Choose from the drop-down menu under the parking ticket image.

Enter your parking ticket infraction number. You can find this number at the top of your ticket.

Enter your credit card information to make the payment. You can use Visa, MasterCard or American Express.

Collect your parking ticket and the method of payment you wish to use. Acceptable methods of payment are: Visa, MasterCard, American Express, debit card, check, money order or cash.

Go to a Toronto Parking Tag Operations center. You can find a link to addresses for the four center locations in the city's website.

Bring your ticket and payment to one of the agents at the center.
