How to Fix Damaged Hair Fast

If you suffer from damaged hair, your hair might appear dry or brittle and be difficult to manage. The damage can be caused by chemical treatments, curlers and blow dryers, and even just brushing your hair regularly. The dry, brittle and broken hair can be repaired using various homemade treatments.

Things You'll Need

• 1 egg
• Teaspoon
• Bowl
• Spoon
• 1 cup mayonnaise
• 1/2 avocado
• Plastic wrap or shower cap
• Shampoo
• Olive oil
• 1 tbsp. lemon juice

Instructions

1. Separate the white and yolk of an egg and whip the white until fluffy. Blend the yolk with a teaspoon of water, until smooth. Combine the yolk and white and apply to wet hair. Rinse with cold water.

2. Combine one cup of mayonnaise with 1/2 an avocado and mix until smooth. Apply to hair and cover with plastic wrap for 20 minutes. Remove the mixture by washing your hair with shampoo and rinsing with warm water.

3. Apply olive oil to your hair, focusing on the areas with most damage or split-ends. Remove the olive oil by washing your hair with shampoo and rinsing with warm water.

4. Mix one cup of water with one tablespoon of lemon juice. Rinse hair with this mixture. Wait 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly with cold water.
