How To Use the Built-In Camera on a Toshiba

Toshiba laptops come equipped with a built-in Web cam. Using the Web cam, you can chat and communicate with friends, family and colleagues. You also can create and upload videos to the Internet. There are many ways to use the Web cam.

Instructions

Using the Start Menu

1. Click on "Start" and select "All Programs."

2. Click on "Toshiba" and select "Utilities."

3. Click on "Web Camera Application" to use the Web cam. You can then use the different options to create your own videos. Click on "Start" to activate the Web cam. Click on "Record" to record your video.

Chat Program

1. Click on any chat program icon to start it.

2. Click on 'Begin Video Chat" to start a video chat. Choose the person with which you want to have a video chat.

3. Accept video chat calls from other people. If the Web cam does not activate during a video chat, click on "Settings." Click on "Enable video chat" to activate the Web cam.
