How to Create an Animated Picture Online
Animated pictures are widely known as animated GIFs. An animated GIF is a graphic file that is comprised of multiple images or frames. There are a handful of websites that offer free animated services. Users can upload their personal images, select an animation speed and create a personalized animated GIF. After creating the animated GIF, you can set is as a desktop background, upload it to a personal website or post it on a social network.

Go to the Gifninja website.

Click on the "Create an Animated Gif" link, which is located in the "Tools" section.

Click the "Browse" button, locate a digital image on your computer and click "Open." You can create an animated GIF with five different images.

Select an animated speed by clicking and dragging the slider toward the "Slower" or "Faster" option. The difference in animation speeds can be viewed in the "Animation speed preview" screen.

Click the "make my gif!" button to animate your images. If you're satisfied with the animated image, click the "Yes--it's fantastic!" button.

Select whether or not you want to have your photo ranked by checking the box next to "Allow my picture to be rated" or "No, don't allow my picture to be rated."

Name your new GIF and click the "Save gif" button.

Click on the top "Browse" button to begin uploading your digital images. Locate the file on your computer and click "Open." You can create an animated picture with up to 10 digital images.

Click on the "Size" drop-down menu and select a size for your animated image.

Click on the "Speed" drop-down menu and choose one of the six available animation speeds.

Click on the "Create Animation" button. When the animation process completes, a preview of your new animated picture will appear on the screen. Right-click the animated image and select "Save Image As." Name your new file, select "GIF Image" from the "Save as type" drop-down menu, and click "Save."

Click the "Browse" button, locate a digital image on your computer and click "Open." If you would like to use multiple images, click on the additional "Browse" buttons and import your images. You can upload 10 images.

Click the "Continue" button to begin the animation process. Click on the "Download to your computer" link when the animation process is complete. You will have the option to open the file in your Web browser or save the file to your computer.
