How to Access 2002 Saturn SC2 Brake Lights
The brake light/tail light, turn signal light and reverse light on the 2002 Saturn SC2 is housed inside the tail light assembly. While gaining access to the rear lights is not difficult, it does require a special star-shaped tipped tool called a Torx driver or Torx-head screwdriver. These tools come in different sizes (starting with a "T" prefix followed by a number size) that need to be adhered to in order to avoid stripping out the head of the special screws. Most auto parts stores and hardware stores sell these special drivers inexpensively.

Press the socket lock/release of the brake light/tail light (top center) inward and turn the socket assembly counterclockwise to align the tabs of the socket to the notches in the tail light assembly.
