How to Open Office Calculator and Capitalize Months
OpenOffice comes with a spreadsheet calculator application called OpenOffice Calc. This program works similar to Microsoft Excel and other spreadsheet applications. You can define fields as numerical for calculations and as textual for organizational or identification purposes. You can add calendar dates to OpenOffice Calc, but it will automatically format the months by capitalizing the month's first letter and leaving the rest of the letters as lowercase. If you want to capitalize the full month's name, you must override the default functionality.
