View a web browser's history by website.

Web browser developers incorporated the ability to track a user's browsing activities into even the earliest versions of the software to hit the market. Mainstream browser software calls this feature the "History." The history function keeps track of the various websites visited, in case the information is needed for later reference. The history file provides a snapshot of all the websites visited, the date visited and the last visit. The browser retains history until automatically cleared by the browser at a preset interval or until manually cleared by the user.
