How to Focus Your Aura
An aura is a field of energy or color that surrounds a person, animal or even object. Auras are associated with several world religions, even Christianity in the form of halos. According to Infuze Magazine, your aura represents your life energy and people with a lot of negativity can unwillingly rub that negativity off on other people. Fortunately, you can cleanse or focus your aura. Focusing your aura should relieve stress and may help you to gain a more positive outlook on life. Reiki circles teach that you can focus your aura at home on your own.

1
Prepare the room where you intend to focus your aura. Light some sage scented candles, which Infuze recommends for locating positive energy. Choose a place to focus that has no distractions. Turn off your phone and the television so that you can concentrate.
-
2
Sit on the floor with your legs crossed or folded under you. Straighten your back and remove all tension from your body. Close your eyes and place your hands on your thighs with your palms facing downwards.

-
3
Concentrate on your belly button. Focus your mind on cleansing your aura and forget about everything else.
-
4
Gently brush yourself off with your hands. Brush off your entire person, all the while imagining that you are dusting off stress, tension and negativity. Take deep breaths in through your nose and breathe out through your mouth.
-
5
Raise your hands directly above your head and stretch up as high as you can once you have brushed yourself off. Visualize a waterfall of gold and silver energy entering through your fingertips and running throughout your entire body, cleansing and focusing your mind, body and spirit.
-
6
Place your hands back in your lap and take several deep breaths, imagining that you are inhaling this golden positive energy. Inhale as deeply as possible, hold your breath for a moment, then exhale. Repeat this several times until you are free from stress.
-
7
Place your hands in prayer position in front of your chest. Concentrate on your belly button and imagine light flowing between your hands. Imagine that your hands can breathe this light and that they are breathing it directly into your belly. When you breathe out, imagine light pouring forth from your hands.
-
8
Open your eyes, stand up and shake out your hands.
