How to Wrap Rock Candy

Cut an 8-inch-diameter circle from plastic food wrap. Use a salad or dessert plate as a template. Trace the outline of the plate with a fine-tipped marker and cut with scissors.

Place the candy in the center of the circle. Gather the plastic wrap around the candy. Twist the plastic wrap as close to the candy as possible.

Cut an 8-inch piece of curly ribbon and tie around the twisted plastic. Curl the ribbon tail using one blade from a pair of scissors and sliding the ribbon between one finger and the blade.

Tips & Warnings
Allow the candy to complete its cycle before wrapping the candy.
Large pieces of candy can be broken to any size you care to use.
If the candy is on a stick, the stick should be left uncovered.
Use different colors of plastic wrap if the candy is clear.
