How to Disable Yahoo! Toolbar Scripts

You can disable the script instead of uninstalling Yahoo! toolbar.

There are several toolbars available to download and install. Yahoo! toolbar remains one of the most popular, but it is worth experimenting with other toolbars, such as Google or Bing, to see if they better meet your needs. Rather than uninstalling Yahoo! toolbar, you can disable the script, saving you the hassle of installing the toolbar again, should you choose to come back to it.

Internet Explorer 8

1. Load Internet Explorer. Click on the "Tools" menu in the top-right of the screen.

2. Click "Manage Add-ons".

3. Select "Yahoo! Toolbar" from the list that appears.

4. Click the "Disable" tab.

Firefox

1. Load Mozilla Firefox. Open the "Tools" menu at the top of the screen.

2. Click "Add-ons".

3. Select "Yahoo! Toolbar" from the list.

4. Click the "Disable" tab.
