How to Sort BlackBerry Messages by Date

BlackBerry SMS texts and emails may not be sorted in the way that you'd particularly like. Typically, your BlackBerry messages will already be sorted by the date. However, an automatic update, a software upgrade or a software malfunction can cause the messages to be sorted in a different way or in no order at all. There is an App World application that can be downloaded onto your phone that will allow you to not only sort your messages by date, but also organize your replied emails by date, subject and recipient.

Instructions

1. Press the "Menu" button to open the BlackBerry Home screen.

2. Select "BlackBerry App World."

3. Click "Search," then type "e-Mobile Email" in the search field. Press your trackball or trackpad to start the search.

4. Select "e-Mobile Email" from the search results.

5. Select "Download." If your phone does not automatically restart when the application is downloaded, restart your phone manually.

6. Click on "e-Mobile Email" from your BlackBerry Home screen to begin organizing and sorting your BlackBerry messages.
