How to Convert a PDF to a PPT with Open Source
Adobe's PDF format allows for the creation of a compressed, uneditable version of a document created in a program like Word or PowerPoint. While this format has its benefits, converting a PDF to a PowerPoint file allows you to edit the PDF as a series of slides, add more slides and display the presentation with PowerPoint

Download PDF2PPT. This open source program, which runs on Ruby, will convert between a PDF and a PowerPoint presentation. Presently, the program is only available for Windows.

Move your PDF file to the directory containing PDF2PPT.

Open the Command application under Start>Run>Command.

Navigate to the directory containing the PDF2PPT application by typing "cd" and then the full location of the folder, starting with "C://".

Type pdf2ppt .pdf .ppt and press enter. This will convert any PDF file located in the directory with the application to a PowerPoint file. You will see PowerPoint open in the background and begin creating the slides.
